How to Sharpen Walton's Slicer Blade
On all Walton’s Slicers, you have a top piece that flips around when it is time to sharpen it. Simply apply pressure on the sharpening stone rods at the back of the blade first. Then, flip the stones to the front of the slicer and apply pressure again, this time on the front edge. Do not press both the front and back sharpening stone rods at the same time. Doing this will damage and maybe even chip your blade, which can be very dangerous.

The Sharpening System
On all Walton’s Slicers, you have a top piece that flips around when it is time to sharpen it. Simply apply pressure on the sharpening stone rods at the back of the blade first. Then, flip the stones to the front of the slicer and apply pressure again, this time on the front edge. Do not press both the front and back sharpening stone rods at the same time. Doing this will damage and maybe even chip your blade, which can be very dangerous.
When you apply pressure to the sharpening rods it will create sparks, but don’t worry. This is normal. This built-in blade sharpening system will keep your Walton’s slicer in the game and ready for its next use.

Walton's 8" Meat Slicer
The Walton’s 8” Meat Slicer is the slicer for any serious home processor! It comes equipped with an extra carriage and blade, meaning you can put big cuts like hams and even bacon on it for slicing. Despite being a new lightweight design, its sturdy construction will make sure you are getting perfect slices every time. You can easily adjust the thickness from 0-15mm with the simple turn of a dial, and the carriage support on the back means that it is going to stay right where you set it, no more starting at 3mm and ending at 5mm, this will stay put. The blade sharpener can quickly sharpen your blade with just the push of two buttons.
Walton's 12" Slicer
The new Walton’s 12” Slicer is a light version of the 12” slicer we have offered in the past. By mimicking the style of the smaller 8” and 10” and removing the stability bars on the front, we have managed to drop 12 lb and still keep all the same power. This slicer-cured and cooked meat is paper-thin and is perfect for slicing lightly frozen beef or wild game to make jerky! With a slicing range of 0-12.5mm with the simple turn of a knob, you can really slice just about anything.
