What are Cellulose Casings?
Cellulose Casings are made from viscose, which is made up of the cellulose from the wood or cotton processing.
These casings are inedible and must be peeled before the sausage is consumed. They have a thick black line running down the outside of them to make it easy to identify if it has been peeled yet.
These casings give a wonderful skinless finished product and are smoke premeable.
