Waltons #32 Meat Grinder
Walton's
A meat grinder is one of the most important tools you can have when making any type of sausage or meat products, your sausage grinder needs to be reliable, powerful and versatile. Walton's all-new line of Meat Grinders have been manufactured to our high standards, we took what we liked from several models and made a few adjustments to help make them grinders that are going to help you make better sausage. We used 304 stainless steel for the auger, housing and locking ring, and we gave it a powerful commercial-grade motor, to give you the best, grind possible from a home grinder. The Walton's #32 Grinder is the biggest, most robust grinder that we carry and it perfect for the serious home processor or hunter who does large batches and uses it every week or so. The 13.75 lb a minute grinding speed is conservative and can easily be exceeded at home under the right conditions. The large throat for the grinder means that you can cut your meat into larger chunks than a #22 or #12 saving you time before you even start grinding.
Can a food processor grind meat?
One of the questions we often get is, can a food processor grind meat? The answer to this question is that while a food processor can break down meat, it cannot grind it. By using a food processor you will quickly lose particle definition in the meat and you will overstress the proteins. There is a reason we recommend that you grind your meat twice, the first grind should be through a large 3/8” plate to prevent the fats in the meat from smearing.
