60mm Ground Beef Not For Sale Shirred Plastic Casing

This 60mm Ground Beef Not For Sale Shirred Plastic Casing helps custom exempt processors package customer ground beef quickly and correctly. Every casing is preprinted with "Ground Beef" and "Not For Sale," so each chub is properly marked as it comes off the stuffer, with no labels or stamps to add afterward.

The casing is a five layer multibarrier film made from coextruded PA (polyamide) and PE (polyethylene). This layered construction helps block moisture loss and protect the meat through freezing and long-term storage. Each shirred strand expands to 120 feet and holds about 1.5 pounds of meat per foot. The casing is not edible and should be removed before cooking.
